Relief in Kebbi as 24 Abducted Schoolgirls Regain Freedom After Coordinated Rescue
There is renewed hope in Kebbi State after the 24 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Sakaba Local Government Area, were rescued by security operatives. The development was confirmed on Tuesday by security sources involved in the operation.

Security Forces Confirm Successful Rescue Operation
According to information monitored by Akahi News, security personnel retrieved the girls following a coordinated operation in the affected area.
Reports from Very Nigerian indicated that the schoolgirls were safely recovered after days of heightened tension and uncertainty among families and residents.
Security operatives have, however, not released full details concerning the operation that led to their rescue.
Authorities Yet to Disclose Condition of Rescued Students
As at the time of filing this report, neither the Kebbi State Government nor the police have provided updates on the health status of the girls or the exact circumstances that led to their freedom.
Akahi News gathered that authorities are expected to brief the public once ongoing documentation and debriefing processes are concluded.
Awaiting Official Briefing as Families Celebrate
Family members and community leaders in Maga are reportedly relieved after receiving confirmation that the students are alive and safe.
Observers noted that further clarifications will shed more light on whether any of the abductors were arrested and what security measures are being put in place to prevent a recurrence.
