“Good morning, my dear people of God,” Father Adeyemi begins. “O blessed, holy hand of God, in you all things are rendered pure, by you are strengthened to endure. O blessed, holy hand of God, all things are sanctified by you, adorned, enriched, you make them new.”

The prayer continues, inviting all to join in a moment of reflection and gratitude:

“Almighty ever living God, we begin this new day by offering our praise and thanksgiving to you, for the gift of life and good health to enjoy our existence. Thank you for providence that guides our lives, leading us in the path of peace, joy, and comfort. We cannot thank you enough for your blessings and favour that we enjoy daily.

“Lord Jesus, as we begin this day, may your light rise in our hearts and shine forth in charity to the world. Grant us presence of mind to know and do what is right in your presence with conviction. Dispel from our hearts the darkness of sin and increase your grace in our souls.

“Lord God, show your mercy to the sick. May each day increase their trust in you. Go with us as we go out this day and grant us your abundant blessings. Grant us success in all our undertakings and make our businesses prosperous.
