Rev. Fr Peter Adeyemi Urges Faithful to Embrace Gratitude, Faith, and Joy This Weekend
In his morning message for Saturday, 9th August 2025, Rev. Fr Peter Adeyemi extended heartfelt prayers and encouragement to the faithful, wishing all a happy and glorious weekend.

Opening with the invocation, “O God, come to our aid, O Lord make haste to help us,” Fr Adeyemi offered thanks to God for the gift of life, describing His blessings as “too numerous to be counted.” He reminded believers that even if their bodies were covered with tongues, they would still be unable to adequately express their gratitude to God.
Acknowledging Jesus Christ as the foundation of daily life, he prayed for divine guidance in all endeavours, stressing that life itself is a gift from God and should be wholly dedicated to Him.
The priest further petitioned for an increase in faith, hope, and love among the faithful, and for God’s peace and joy to accompany them in their social engagements and recreation over the weekend.
Concluding, Fr Adeyemi assured the faithful of his prayers for their intentions, urging them to keep their hearts fixed on the things that please God.
