Akahi News gathered that the incident unfolded after the man, whose identity remains unknown, was allegedly caught stealing in a local community. Eyewitnesses reported that he had already endured severe mob justice before some members of the crowd appeared to calm the situation, offering him a brief moment of relief.

However, the atmosphere changed abruptly when tempers flared again, and the group moved toward him for what looked like a second round of assault. Realising what was about to happen, the suspect reportedly sprang to his feet and bolted from the scene, leaving the crowd in laughter and confusion.
