Advice and Will God Re-Conquer the UK Through Jeremy Corbyn and Team? – Jarga Gigo Writes

Corbyn, the Rejected Stone?
Could Jeremy Corbyn, once cast aside by the Labour Party, become the cornerstone of a new political future for the United Kingdom? This is the question that activist and writer Jarga Gigo raises in his recent submission to Akahi News.
Gigo recalls the biblical image of the “rejected stone” becoming the cornerstone, applying it to Corbyn’s political journey. Expelled under Keir Starmer’s leadership, Corbyn now appears positioned to rally an independent force with record-breaking membership registrations. “Few imagined he could win again, let alone form a movement that might rival Labour itself,” Gigo notes. Yet, with growing grassroots energy, he suggests Corbyn may indeed become a leader the establishment must reckon with.
Social Justice and the Cannabis Question
According to Gigo, Corbyn’s renewed emphasis on social justice must go beyond rhetoric. He insists that genuine justice is measured through policies and laws, not vague calls for fairness. Among these, he highlights the legalisation of cannabis as a central test of sincerity.
“History proves that cannabis reform has helped leaders win elections,” Gigo argues, citing Barack Obama, Justin Trudeau, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden as case studies of promises kept and broken. For Britain, he warns against continuing its “hypocritical” cannabis regime, where the rich enjoy access to medical cannabis while the poor face criminalisation.
Gigo suggests that a truly just government would remove unnecessary barriers, regulate sensibly, and expand access equitably. “God has given permission to every adult to prevent and cure disease,” he writes, emphasising that no human system should make healing exclusive to elites.
Housing: From Rent Control to Ownership
While many politicians stop at rent control, Gigo challenges Corbyn and his team to think bigger: affordable home ownership within two to five years, even for labourers.
He proposes hemp-based construction materials as a revolutionary solution. With hempcrete, hemp wood, and hemp composites, he believes billions of homes could be built sustainably and affordably if barriers on hemp farming are relaxed. International partnerships with poorer nations like The Gambia and Senegal, he adds, could redirect billions from arms spending into global housing initiatives.
“Poor people need hemp houses, not just hemp museums,” Gigo insists, pointing to the irony of Britain importing hemp for elite projects while ordinary citizens face housing insecurity.
Containing the Arms Race
Gigo also applauds Corbyn’s consistent opposition to the global arms race. He argues that if nations redirect even part of their massive military budgets into housing and social development, the world will be more secure.
“Wars are often rooted in money, greed, and ignorance,” he writes. “If everyone owns a decent hemp home, it becomes harder to find people willing to destroy others blindly in the name of patriotism.”
Israel, Palestine, and Rejecting Labels
One of the most sensitive issues for Corbyn has been accusations regarding his stance on Israel and Palestine. Gigo advises him to reject both “anti-Israel” and “pro-Palestine” labels.
“Justice and injustice existed long before Israel and Palestine,” he observes. Supporting Palestine’s right to statehood, he insists, does not mean supporting injustice from Palestinians themselves. Similarly, criticising Israeli policies must not be misinterpreted as anti-Semitism.
According to Gigo, true leadership means being pro-truth, pro-conscience, and pro-humanity, not enslaved by political labels.
Britain’s Opportunity for Renewal
Gigo urges UK voters to view this moment as a chance for repentance and renewal. Just as Britain once confronted its role in slavery, he argues, it must now confront its cruel history of cannabis criminalisation and its failure to protect the vulnerable.
“Jeremy Corbyn himself was nearly destroyed by over-punishment,” Gigo writes. “Voting him into power would send a strong signal against excessive expulsions and political injustice.”
What Journalists Must Do
For Gigo, the role of journalists is crucial. He challenges them to press politicians with tough, specific questions rather than vague inquiries. He offers examples:
- Mr Corbyn, will you legalise cannabis within months, or will you delay like Biden and Obama?
- Will you focus only on rent control, or deliver affordable home ownership within five years?
- How will you reduce military spending while protecting national security?
- Will you stand for truth even if it means opposing Palestine or Israel when they commit injustice?
Only with such persistent questioning, Gigo insists, can the truth be brought to light.
A Call to Push, Pray, and Act
In conclusion, Gigo argues that Britain stands at a crossroads. Corbyn may not be perfect, but his rejection and potential return symbolise resilience. The opportunity is here for voters, activists, and journalists to push harder, pray sincerely, and demand accountability.
“If over 50% of candidates promise legalisation, housing reform, and justice, change will be unstoppable,” Gigo predicts.
As he closes, Gigo places his hope in God’s providence and in the courage of citizens: “May God bless every good spirit, and may He bless us more through Showlove Trinity: Let’s learn, let’s work, let’s have fun.”
