The programme will originate from SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathedral Church, Lagere, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The initiative is designed to bring the Catholic liturgical celebration closer to people who, for various reasons, may be unable to attend physical church services, while also providing an opportunity for individuals and families to unite in worship.
Through the livestream, viewers will be able to follow the Sunday worship, listen to the Word of God, reflect on the liturgical readings and participate spiritually in the Eucharistic celebration.
Akahi News therefore encourages Catholics, Christians, families, friends and members of the public to join the broadcast, invite others and make the programme part of their Sunday spiritual activities.
Viewers are also encouraged to subscribe to the Akahi News YouTube channel, activate the notification bell, share the livestream and participate respectfully in the comment section by sharing their prayer intentions.
The broadcast is part of Akahi News’ commitment to promoting faith-based communication, evangelisation and the use of digital media to make Christian teachings and religious celebrations accessible to a wider audience.
