Federal Ministry of Education Confirms Updated 2025 WASSCE Results to Be Released Within 24 Hours
The Federal Ministry of Education has assured candidates of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that their updated results will be available on the official result checker portal within the next 24 hours.
This development follows the successful resolution of a technical glitch that affected the initial release of some candidates’ results.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Boriowo Folasade, the disruption was linked to complications encountered during post-release processing. The problem, according to the statement, was particularly evident in subjects where paper serialization had been newly introduced by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as part of strengthened examination security measures.
The Ministry confirmed that the issue was addressed promptly after the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa, received a comprehensive briefing from the relevant departments.
