Come ring out our joy to the Lord, hail the God who saves us. Let us come before him singing for joy, with songs let us praise the Lord.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, early in the morning, we rise up to praise your holy name. Thank you for granting us a peaceful night rest. Thank you for the gift of this new week. We are grateful for granting us good health and peace of mind. We thank you for the blessings you have prepared for us this week. Accept our gratitude Lord.
Lord Jesus, you are the light of the world, that shines in darkness that darkness cannot overcome, let your divine light illuminate our minds. May our minds dwell on righteousness as we go about our duties in the new week. Let your light brighten our souls and make them beautiful dwellings for the Holy Spirit.
Lord God, let your divine presence go with us as we go to work this week. Grant us resounding success in all we lay our hands upon. Increase our faith, hope and love as we we carry out our activities. Grant us your favour and compassion throughout this new week.
