Government Reiterates Commitment

Speaking on behalf of the state government, Aliyu explained that Governor Umar Namadi’s administration remains committed to clearing all outstanding liabilities while ensuring newly retired workers are paid without unnecessary delay.

“We are determined to maintain this schedule so that workers who have spent their years in service to the state can retire with dignity,” Aliyu said.

Pensioners Laud Effort

Some beneficiaries, while expressing appreciation, called on the government to sustain the gesture and ensure regular payment of pensions and gratuities.

This latest disbursement brings relief to many retirees who rely on the funds for their livelihood, especially in the face of current economic challenges.
