PDP Unifier Group Mourns With Yeye Oge Over Brutal Murder of Husband and Relatives

Condolence Message to Bereaved Family
The PDP Unifier Group (PUG) has expressed deep sorrow over the brutal killing of Yeye Oge’s husband, his friend, and his brother by suspected bandits in Oke-Ode, Kwara South.
In a condolence statement, the group extended heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family, describing the incident as not only devastating but also a reflection of the urgent security challenges facing communities across the country.
Victims Described as Pillars of the Community
According to the group, the slain husband was more than a family man — he was a pillar within the community whose tragic death leaves a vacuum that will be hard to fill. His friend and brother, who also lost their lives in the attack, were remembered as committed and respected individuals whose lives were cut short in a most painful manner.
“The loss is not only personal to the family but communal to the people of Oke-Ode and beyond. It is a monumental failure of the primary responsibility of safeguarding lives and property,” the group noted.
Call for Improved Security Measures
While consoling the bereaved family, the PDP Unifier Group urged government authorities to intensify efforts in tackling the rising wave of banditry, stressing that no family should have to endure such irreparable pain from violent crimes.
The group reaffirmed its solidarity with Yeye Oge and her family, pledging continued support and prayers during this time of grief.
