The Parish Priest of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathedral, Lagere, Ile-Ife, Rev. Fr Peter Adeyemi, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to his parishioners and distinguished guests for their unwavering support during his 25th Priestly Anniversary celebration.
The milestone event, held on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathedral Church Hall, drew together a cross-section of the faithful, community leaders, and dignitaries. In his remarks, Rev. Fr Adeyemi specifically acknowledged the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Chairman, Prof. Bola Marcus Eleruja; Baba Ijo, Baba Oloye Michael Olasoji Akiyemi; Iya Ijo, Chief Mrs Rachel Fadodun; Asiwaju Okunrin Ijo, Lawrence Olajire Awowoyin; Baba Isale Ijo, Are Muyiwa Omisade; Prince Patrick Akinwunto; Senator Iyiola Omisore; Otun Baba Ijo, Chief John Abasilim; and Dr Angela Abasilim, among others.
