Ogoja, Cross River State – 10 August 2025 – The Catholic community within and beyond the Diocese of Ogoja is today celebrating one of its most dedicated and transformative clerics, Rev. Fr Thomas O. Onabe, fondly known as Fr Tear Rubber, as he marks his 12th Priestly Ordination Anniversary.

Fr Onabe, a highly respected priest renowned for his unwavering pastoral commitment, currently serves at St. John Catholic Parish, Yahe, in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State. Since his appointment, he has left an indelible mark on the parish, overseeing remarkable transformations in both spiritual growth and infrastructural development.
