“I am happy to be back home, after a brief vacation. While in Geneva, Nigeria’s presence at the global parliamentary gathering was a strong one. Our voices were heard loud and clear, through my humble self and my brother, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas,” Akpabio stated.

He assured Nigerians that the National Assembly, under his leadership, would intensify its legislative engagements upon resumption, noting that the visit to Geneva afforded Nigeria a rare opportunity to showcase its parliamentary capacity and to engage in meaningful global dialogue.
