Tension arose when a soldier confronted a man spotted in military uniform, demanding answers to confirm his identity.
The suspect, who initially claimed to be a personnel, reportedly failed to provide the correct responses to a series of questions posed by the soldier. His inconsistent answers and nervous composure raised suspicions that he may be an impersonator.
Akahi News learnt that the incident has sparked widespread reactions, with many questioning what might have happened to the individual after the confrontation.
Authorities are yet to officially comment on the matter, but military sources have consistently warned that impersonation of security personnel is a serious offence punishable under the law.
