According to the Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency (SEA), Mr. Francis Ekpo, Governor Bassey Otu has ordered the immediate deployment of engineers to the site to ensure the restoration of reliable electricity to the people of Bekwarra.

Ex-Governor Ortom Dismisses Suspension Claims from Benue PDP
Former Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has categorically denied reports of his suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Through his media aide, Tever Akase, Ortom described the claims as “null and void,” emphasizing that embattled Benue PDP Chairman John Ngbede lacks the authority to convene a meeting to suspend anyone.
Akase highlighted that Ngbede is currently serving a one-month suspension, rendering any actions taken by him as invalid. He reaffirmed Ortom’s position as the leader of the party in the state, stating that any meetings or decisions made without his consent are null and void.
