Facebook creators in Nigeria can now monetize their content through ad revenue, as the country has become eligible for this feature. Meta, Facebook’s parent company, marked Nigeria as eligible in the professional dashboard on Thursday, June 27.
Previously, content creators with Nigerian addresses were not eligible for Facebook monetization unless they had page management based in an eligible country. This development allows Nigerian creators to earn money through various Facebook features, including in-stream ads, live ads, ads on reels, bonuses, and subscriptions.
