Good evening my dear people of God.
O God, come to our aid, O Lord make haste to help us. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen.
Let us pray:
God our loving Father, thank you for this day that we have spent according to your will and pleasure. Thank you for the opportunity and privilege to be among the living as we begin the new month. As you have enabled us to begin the month of August, may it please you to count us among the living at the end of the month.
Lord Jesus, be our guide during this month. Be our protector and refuge. Keep us save in the hollow of your hands. May no danger or harm befall us and our loved ones. Keep far away from us all distress and disaster.
Almighty God, let the splendour of your glory shine brightly upon us and family as we go to bed. Into your able hands we commit ourselves soul, mind and body as we retire for the night. Grant us a peaceful and quiet night rest. In the morning may we rise up strong and healthy to continue to serve you faithfully.
