Content Creator Peller Denies Assaulting Jarvis After Viral Concert Video Sparks Backlash
By Joseph Iyaji | Akahi News
Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral video showing him pushing fellow creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata (Jarvis) at a concert.

The short clip, which quickly spread across social media, drew sharp criticism from fans who accused Peller of physically abusing Jarvis. However, in a response video, Peller clarified that the incident was taken out of context.
According to him, the event took place at a Seyi Vibez concert, where he was trying to protect Jarvis from a violent crowd of “Agbero” (street thugs). He explained that the push captured in the video was part of their usual playful behaviour and not an act of aggression.

“I can never beat a woman,” Peller said, insisting he has never raised his hand against any woman. He criticised comparisons to domestic violence, stressing that people misunderstood his action.
Jarvis also broke her silence, confirming that Peller did not intend to harm her and that the online reaction had blown the situation out of proportion.

The incident has reignited conversations about how short, out-of-context clips on social media can sometimes mislead audiences and damage reputations.
